Den quilt jeg vil vise er Heidruns Blomster. Det er den quilt fra dette år, som jeg har forelsket mig mest i og nok også haft sværest ved at give væk. Jeg har selv designet den og stoffet har jeg valgt sammen med Julie Historien er som følger: Heidrun var min datters hjerteveninde og soulmate og da vi fik at vide, at hun i sommerferien skulle flytte tilbage til Island, besluttede vi at sy hende en quilt. Det var en god proces for både mor og datter og Heidrun bare knuselskede sin quilt fra første øjekast.
This is my favorit quilt of this year. I did design it to Heidrun, my daughters best friend, this summer. Heidrun was going to move from Denmark to Iceland, and then the bedst of friends could not be together any longer. They were both very sad, and I wanted to give Heidrun a quilt as a memory of their friendship. And she loved it! The word above the two Sunbonnet Sue says: Bedst of girlfriends. The quilt is called "Heidruns Flowers".

Det er ikke noget at sige til, at det er svært at skille sig af med den, men alligevel skønt, at den er knuselsket af modtageren!
Jamen dog hvor er den flot. Jeg er vild med de skrappe farver. Og så lige teksten inde i midterfeltet, så må man næsten knibe en tåre. Godt at modtageren var begejstret også.
